Survey: More US Employers to Hire Temporary & Contract Workers in 2014

More U.S. employers plan to hire temporary and contract workers in 2014, according to the 2014 Jobs Forecast report recently released by CareerBuilder.  “The forecast’s survey found that 42 percent of employers plan to hire temporary or contract workers in 2014, up from 40 percent in last year’s survey…Hiring for science, technology, engineering and math occupations is expected to take center stage with 26 percent planning to create jobs in these areas over the next 12 months,” reports Staffing Industry Analysts. 

The 2014 Jobs Forecast report was compiled from online research and surveys conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of CareerBuilder and consisted of 2,201 hiring managers and human resource professionals.  For more information, please click here for the full article.
