31 Oct Accuro Supports NC Chamber Women’s Leadership Conference
Women > A Force in Business is an annual event hosted by the North Carolina Chamber. Over 1,000 women attended this year’s forum at the Raleigh Convention Center. Both engaging and highly-attended, the inspiring conference explores pathways to leadership and how men and women can work together to fortify the next generation of female leaders.
Given the growth-oriented focus of this event, it was fitting to include “Networking Where You Want to Go” as one of the key breakout sessions this year. The panel featured: Dr. Shruti Tannan, Board Certified Surgeon; Creighton Blackwell, Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Community Engagement, Coastal Credit Union; Ursula Mead, Founder and CEO, InHerSight; and Accuro’s own President and CEO Jennifer Dunleavy, acting as moderator. The session discussed strategies for growing and utilizing personal networks, including tips for engaging with new contacts and leveraging social media for networking.
Accuro would like to thank the NC Chamber for having us as a 2018 Women > A Force in Business sponsor and the many speakers and attendees who inspired our team during the conference.
